Dr. Nunez practiced in Ecuador for 10 years before moving to the United States where she attended New York University and received her degree in dentistry. With 30 years of experience, Dr. Nunez has dedicated her life to providing excellent dental services. By devoting her time to educate each patient, Dr. Nunez not only provides dental services, but also establishes a lasting bond with her patients. She is known for delivering her services with professionalism, kindness, experience and, most importantly, patience. She has been able to stay at the leading edge of the latest advances in the dental services and dental technology. With her years of experience, Dr. Nunez has noticed one of the major weaknesses of the industry: the lack of specialists in a dental office. There are dental practices where the general dentists have to perform everything - from dental cleaning to major surgery. In order to offer her patients the care they deserve, Dr. Nunez began assembling a team of specialists in 2008. Dr. Dev Patwa was born in Mineola, New York, and grew up in the suburbs of Long Island. He earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Rochester, and graduated with a degree in Economics. The following year he worked as a financial analyst in New York City, but realized after a year this was not his calling. After spending time one summer observing procedures first hand at his own dentist’s office, he realized that dentistry was his true passion.

 

Dr. Patwa started his dental education in 2003 at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Patwa continued his studies by completing a year of general practice residency in Long Island College Hospital. After graduating, he realized that he wanted to focus in Aesthetic Dentistry. This shift in focus on enabled him to practice a variety of procedures to best serve his patients. Currently, he enjoys interacting with his patients on a daily basis, and aims to deliver the best care while focusing on their main concerns. He especially loves utilizing the latest cosmetic concepts and materials to both create and maintain the smiles he sees at every visit. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, engaging in some photography, and playing tennis.

Dr. Starace was born and raised in Mount Vernon, NY. He attended the University of Rochester where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science. After graduating from college, Dr. Starace worked for TES Environmental Corp in Rochester, NY, as a project monitor. He began volunteering at a dental office at this time and provided care in an underserved community in Rochester.

In 2002, Dr. Starace began his dental education at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. He went on to complete an Advanced Education Program in Periodontics in 2009. Dr, Starace focuses on the treatment of periodontal disease for his patients as well as educating them in how to control it. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Starace’s interests include: photography, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Loretta Pouso was born and raised in Queens, New York. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Iona College in New Rochelle in 1998. She attended the New York University College of Dentistry in the fall of 1998 and graduated in 2002. Dr. Pouso continued her studies by completing a year of general practice residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. She moved on to study advanced cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute at the New York University College of Dentistry for esthetic dentistry. The following year, Dr. Pouso was invited to return as a clinical associate professor at the Rosenthal Institute.

 

Dr. Pouso’s dedication to the profession of dentistry is one of the qualities that separate her from other dentists. She has contributed her professional services to humanitarian efforts and organizations; she has traveled numerous times to the Dominican Republic to perform dental services for economically disadvantaged children and their families.

 

On November 2, 2010, Dr. Pouso filmed an on-camera testimonial for Biotene mouthwash that can be seen currently on television and on the internet. Dr. Pouso enjoys spending her free time with her family and playing tennis.

Dr Lee graduated from Brigham Young University. He proceeded to graduate from Loma Linda University Dental School and graduated in 2001. He loves to engage his patients and reassure them that their root canals will be performed with the utmost care. Dr. Lee strives to always hear his patients say that their root canals were comfortable and painless. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, his son, and his two daughters.

Dr. Demorizi graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completion of her dental education at Tufts, she continued her training in dentistry by becoming a General Practice Resident at Montefiore Medical Center. There she was able to hone the skills she acquired during her post-graduate training as well as becoming a more efficient and proficient clinician. She is fluent in Spanish and works well in a team environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her twin sister enjoying what NYC has to offer.
